H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will pay a working visit to Tanzania on 30-31 May 2014. Minister Davutoğlu will hold high level contacts in Tanzania and Zanzibar.

In this framework, Minister Davutoğlu will also participate in the Dar es Salaam port visits of Turkish Navy ships TCG Oruçreis, TCG Gediz and TCG Heybeliada, which are visiting ports in several African countries between 17 March and 27 June 2014 under the name Barbaros Turkish Maritime Task Group, within the scope of the scheduled activities of the Turkish Naval Forces for the year 2014.

On this occasion, the Minister will also chair the regional assessment meeting to be held on 30 May 2014 in Dar es Salaam with the participation of Turkish Ambassadors posted in Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
