We have learned with sorrow that ten people lost their lives today (14 April 2015) as a result of a bomb attack against the Ministry of Education building and the following gunfire in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. We strongly condemn and denounce this despicable attack which aimed at the Somalian government institutions.

We wish mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to their bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.

Turkey will maintain its solidarity with friendly and brotherly Somalia in the fight against terrorism.
