H.E. Foreign Minister Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will visit Saudi Arabia on 15-16 June 2015 to attend the Extraordinary Meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers to be held in Jedah on the situation in Yemen.

Advocating finding a political solution to the problems in Yemen under the Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative, the Outcomes of National Dialogue Conference, the Riyadh Declaration dated 19 May 2015 and the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2216, Turkey will extend its support in this meeting towards strengthening the solidarity of the OIC with the brotherly people of Yemen and contributing to the ongoing efforts of the UN for a political solution.
