We strongly condemn and denounce the terrorist attack perpetrated in Mogadishu, capital of Somalia, this morning (1 November) against a hotel located approximately 300 meters away from the Turkish Embassy with a bomb-laden vehicle and resulted in the death of more than 10 persons and injury of many others according to initial reports.

We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to their relatives and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will maintain its support to the efforts for ensuring stability and peace in Somalia and to the fight of this country against terrorism.
