We have learned with great sorrow the terrorist attack with a bomb-laden vehicle perpetrated today (30 August) against a hotel near Presidential Palace in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.

We strongly condemn and denounce the terrorist attack resulted in death of ten people and injury of twenty people including the Ministers, members of parliament and journalists according to the initial reports.

We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in this heinous attack, convey our condolences to their relatives and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will continue to give all kinds of support decisively to the friendly and brotherly people of Somalia to attain peace and stability.
