We strongly condemn and denounce the terrorist attack perpetrated with a bomb-laden vehicle this morning (11 December) near the port in Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia and resulted in death and injury of tens of civilians.

We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attacks, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will maintain its efforts for the establishment of peace and prosperity in Somalia and continue to stand by the friendly and brotherly people of Somalia.
