Mr. William Lacy Swing, the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), will pay an official visit to Turkey upon the invitation of H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, for participating in the 9th Ambassadors Conference between 11 and 13 January 2017.

During his visit, Mr. Director General Swing will address Turkish Ambassadors in the margins of the 9th Ambassadors Conference and will be received by H.E. Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.

On the occasion of the visit, H.E. Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Yıldız and Mr. Director General Swing will sign an Agreement amending the current Host Country Agreement between Turkey and the IOM.
