We learned with sorrow that a strong earthquake hit off the coast of southern Mexico and resulted in tragic loss of lives and damage on 8 September 2017.

We share the grief of the Mexican people, extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wish recovery to the injured.

At this difficult time, we reiterate our strong solidarity with the Mexican Government and friendly people of Mexico. Turkey is ready to provide support with all possible means to Mexico if requested.
