We welcome the recent developments made in the process towards achieving unity among our Palestinian brothers and the Meeting of the Council of Ministers held in this context on 3 October by the Government of Palestine in Gaza.

Turkey will continue in the period ahead its support for the efforts to conclude as soon as possible the process of Palestinian reconciliation which we consider essential for the two state solution and indispensable for the lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
