Republic Of Türkiye Ministry Of Foreign Affairs 12.12.2021

We are saddened to receive the news that several buildings collapsed or were damaged after the gas explosion in the town of Ravanusa on the island of Sicily, Italy, and that search and rescue efforts continue for those who are under the rubble.

We extend our condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident as well as to the friendly and ally Italian Government and people and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
