We are deeply saddened to receive the news that 5 Chadian soldiers were killed and many injured during a terrorist attack perpetrated by the terrorist organization Boko Haram in the region of the Lake Chad.

We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives, to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Chad and wish swift recovery to the injured.
