Ambassador Mehmet Paçacı has been appointed as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General's Special Envoy on Islamophobia at the 15th Summit of the OIC in Banjul on 4-5 May.
We are confident that Ambassador Paçacı will carry out his duties successfully.
We take this opportunity to reiterate that the international community should adopt a common position and act decisively to combat hatred against Islam.
